Title: browse for ring tone now missing?
Post by: ulao on March 08, 2013, 06:08:10 am: I used aqua mail some time ago and it was the only mail app that allowed me to choose an mp3 form a folder for a ring tone. Now I'm coming back to aqua mail and I see the feature is missing?

Did you change the OS or removed a file manager application?

Basically I need it so that I know what type of mail I receive. Playing some chime is not going to help me identify it where a well known song segment will.

I have recently upgraded to 4.2.2. Do you know enough about how this works? There must be a way to get that option back?

Post by: jcasares on March 09, 2013, 02:07:17 am: What you might have done is chose a default for choosing a ringtone in Aquamail. If this is the case in Application Management for the AquaMail app you can clear the defaults.

Post by: ulao on March 09, 2013, 02:41:32 am: I did the clear data and all setting were reset. I then added a new account and went right to special settings and hit ringtone. It brought me to the default tones screen again :(
