Title: Printing sent mail
Post by: Mike01Hu on February 28, 2013, 06:16:47 pm
First, a great app, which is the only one that reliably gets through the temperamental Orange server!
Second, great to be able to print incoming mail but only via Printershare and not HP Print (preferred).
Third, can you make printing available for sent mail as the option does not appear on the menu as it does for incoming mail.

I am using this on a Galaxy note 10.1 and an Asus transformer running on 4.1.2 and 4.1.1 respectively with Aquamail Pro.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi,

Thank you.

I assume the HP printing app is this one (HP has several apps in Play): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hp.android.print

My recommendation, though, is Cloud Print by Paolo Fernandes. We've worked together to provide HTML printing with formatting and images.

Re: sent messages -- I'm thinking about showing sent messages using the same UI as incoming ones, maybe will need minor adjustments, but overall, should be better...

Ok, installed and activated HP ePrint.

Tried to "share" from my app, and from Gmail (selected text).

HP's app does not show as a share target in either case.

So, looks like HP ePrint just does not support receiving shared text as a way to submit stuff to print.

I can pick a file or a gallery image to print, but that's it.

If I got the wrong app, or there is a trick I'm missing, please let me know.
