Hi Justin,
Yes we know. As Nadia communicated, we added a fix for the initialization of the Facebook SDK in the Pro version.
A setting in the next version of the app will specifically disable Crashlytics.
In general Crashlytics help us track, prioritize, group together and fix stability issues that erode Aqua Mail's quality, in real-time. Crashlytics are anonymous.
Again a setting will allow you to disable these in the next app version.

And you would have much less indignation on the internet if someone from the team would look at the forum every working day and, in case of problems, at least declare that they were noticed and not ignored.

It would be nice to get some information about "push-api.aqua-mail.com". What exactly is this responsible for?
Edit: Sure Facebook was removed? I reinstalled Aquamail, deactivated statistics and still appears "graph.facebook.com" (btw. and settings.crashlytics.com, app-measurement.com). Can anyone confirm that?

Yes, you are right. Facebook connection was not removed in version 1.25.0-1628.

How are you getting this information? I am not seeing any of these Facebook URL request made to my DNS server so I would like to try to reproduce it.

The easiest way: Use blokada or NetGuard if you don't have root. But a pihole also works.

How are you getting this information? I am not seeing any of these Facebook URL request made to my DNS server so I would like to try to reproduce it.

To reproduce Facebook connection quickly:
1. Go to device settings > apps > Aquamail
2. Tap Stop and confirm
3. Then start Aquamail.
First thing Aquamail will so is connecting Facebook and Crashlytics.
So what was written by Mobisystems is not true. I don't know if it happened intentionally or unintentionally.
Unfortunately we do not get any feedback from Mobisystems, not even a confirmation that they have read it.

Thank you for being so vigilant.
Seems like these facebook requests squeezed through as a side effect of one of the features we are working on.
We are frustrated by this issue as well and we put it at highest priority to find a way to stop these.
In the hotfix we have found a way to halt most of the facebook requests and we are looking for a solution to shut them all down.
Crashlytics is a service that would help us in fixing crashes.
It is collecting only crash information and no personal info.
The stacktraces of the crashes are valuable source of information and help us greatly to keep the app stable.
If you notice any personal info collected by the crashlytics service please let us know we are going to investigate.
We are checking the forum regularly and even if we do not respond right away, this is because we are busy investigating
the issue and we are going to be back to you when we have valuable info.
Your participation in the forum gives us great feedback and helps us keep AquaMail in top shape.

Since there was no crash, this can not be "only crash information" several times daily?

Paid, pro-user here.
This is completely ridiculous! This is like watching a bad drama/horror movie and I am sitting here eating my popcorn while waiting for a reply from Mobisystems.
I only registered to write this and to follow up on the answers.
Like you said, they should know what was added into their app.
@Mobisystems:
We expect a clear, detailed answer and maybe also an apology since there are still trackers even after your hot fix.
Also, what measures have been take already to prevent this to happen again?

I sent a suggestion to Android Central, maybe they can write an interesting article about this mess and increase the awareness of other apps doing the same thing.
