We are glad to announce that version 1.20.0-1456 has been released on Google Play for all users.
During the last month we worked on two technical issues:
+ One ad network was removed - Vungle
+ We migrated from GCM to Firebase Cloud. Here are the details

There are a lot of net monitoring apps in play store, e.g.

I'm actually using Adguard, which does more including blocking unwanted ads and data tracking.

Hi all,
Adjust is only added to help us monitor our performance for spending our marketing budget. It only tracks the events of installs, and purchases made from paid ad campaigns that we make. This is how we can optimize our spending on paid marketing and make the app more popular.
Also, we are releasing a new build AquaMail 1.20.0-1457 because yesterday Google had some issues and the update wasn't delivered at all. No additional changes were made in this version.

1. Why didn't you (MobiSystems) mention "adding Adjust" in changelogs?
2. AquaMail app tries always and every day to connect to adjust.
Bottom line:
You know that we have an AquaMail support subforum in german biggest android forum. Until this month we could always claim (and we did) that there is no data tracking in AquaMail pro if disabled in settings.
From now on we must change this claim to:
1. There is now daily data tracking in AquaMail pro version.
2. There is daily data tracking, even if disabled in user settings.
3. Users will not get information about this daily data tracking.

The obvious solution here would be to disable this tracker if the "Send usage statistics" option is disabled. That should have been done from the get go. Hopefully it will be done in the next release.

Just have found the feedback on reddit regarding adjust tracker - very hot on reddit:

Users want a pro version that is
- ad-free (no advertising modules built in, even if disabled)
- clean and tracking free app
I am willing to purchase again - though AquaMail is the most expensive mail app actually, but only for a clean app. .

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but seems first step for every Mobisystem acquired app, no matter if the app is free or pro, is to add advertisements into it and not notice customers about it.
I'll bet they will not comment this issue here or anywhere.

Yes, we will find a solution for this. Just a reminder of what I've said earlier in the forum- Adjust is only used to tell us if somebody who downloaded Aqua Mail from an ad that we paid for, then if that user bought a paid license. This is the only thing that we need Adjust for.

I purchased AquaMail some years ago. Without using any app. So now you know it.
Why connections to Adguard every day for all users?

Just have installed version 1462. I can't see any changes regarding Adjust. Many, many attempts to connect. I don't want this.
Please remove unwanted connections from pro version.

Any updates to the tracking fiasco? I've been loving this app since day 1, but this is stupid. I downloaded the app because it was so much praised for it's privacy/speed/customization, I have never ever seen an ad for Aquamail. it was genuine word-of-mouth brand awareness and you're downplaying it.
Make it opt-in at least..
