Hi,
I purchased Aquamail Pro through the play store 7/16/2018 for the special $4.99 price. I just did a factory reset on my phone and now the pro in the play store is showing that it is not purchased and at $9.99.
I went to my order history in the play store and it shows record of the purchase. How do I get this so I can install the unlocker key?
I did back up and restore my account settings and the app appears to be working unrestricted, but I don't know how to tell if it's operating as pro or in some trial mode.

You could try to set up a third mail account to see, if the app is in the Pro mode.
[The free version is limited only to two accounts]

Oh okay - I have 3 accounts set up now... does the trial allow full functionality for a period of time though?

The free version offers full functionality, unlimited in time, with the exception of:
• maximum of two accounts
• No Push mail for Exchange (corporate mail) accounts
• No per-account identities (aliases)
• Will add a promo signature to sent messages
• Not ad-free

So then based on that information it would seem that it is running the pro? Is license information restored with settings backup/restore?
