Title: Always start Aquamail in Smart Folder from notification

Hi,

Eventhough I have selected the option to start Aquamail always in Smart Folder, when I tap on a new mail notification, Aquamail starts in the account on which the notified message was received.

Is it possible to start Aquamail always in Smart Folder when tapping on a new mail notification?

It is a pain to have to always switch to Smart Folder manually

You can set a widget to open the smart folder.

App settings -> smart folder -> enable "use for notifications".

You will only have one notification icon no matter how many accounts, representing the smart folder.

And when you tap that "unified" notification, the app will take you into "smart folder" -> "message" (I mean backing out of the message will land you in smart folder).

Thanks for your reply, but in "App settings -> smart folder" I have everything greyed out and I cannot change anything.

Why are all this options greyed out?

First you have to enable "Smart folder" (the very first item). Then all options should be available.

Smart Folder is selected. In fact, I cannot unselect it


EDIT: I have managed to enable Smart Folder's settings. Just in case it may help anybody:

Settings-> Look and behavior -> Start app in -> "Choose anything different from Smart Folder"

I have Aquamail in Spanish, so the names of the settings may not be accurate (I have translated them)
