You can't. Just uninstall it and move on. Don't support anything MobiSystems does. Shady company.
Fuck 'em.
-
I can fully understand your motivations. But please remain polite in spite of everything.
-
OK, sorry. But they haven't been polite to me in a different way, have they? Anyway, I'm done. Good luck everyone finding a new email program. I can't trust them any longer.
I wish you well....

Just uninstall it and use an email client where the developers have some integrity and honesty.

It's a little bit of an odd situation for me in that I actually have Office Suite Pro installed and I actually had that before I had Aqua mail as my email client. Something you might try is setting a default program to open a PDF file not sure if that would make that unwanted screen go away for you but in all reality it should whenever you perform any function that would open a PDF the default program should automatically open it try that and see if it helps.

Please, remove it. I'm using Microsoft Office apps, so no need to have that office promotion.

The prompt only shows a limited number of times and a very small number really.
So after you dismiss it a few times, it will disappear.

@Nadejda
Most of us know that.
But we want an ad-free app as promised. Please remove those ads, even ads for your other products.
-
Promised and paid for. It's a real shame that the integrity of such an excellent app with outstanding support from the guy who wrote all the code is being compromised by the new owners.

Thanks, Nadejda, for your answer.
But with all respect to devs and support - we've paid for the app, so there's no need to have those prompts popping around. I do agree with situation, when no office suite app installed, or free version is used. Should I buy Pro license one more time, to avoid those promotions?

Does not matter, as a paid customer we were promised no ads. Have you no integrity as a developer?

I found this worked:
Install File Commander (also a mobisystems app)
There is a free version.
It offers options to open various filetypes with office suite (or indeed itself) - delesect these options as desired.
Then, unless you want to keep File Commander, uninstall it.
Then pdfs and other docs offer the android standard "open with" screen, and once an app is selected, they open with it automatically 😀
