Title: No sound notification on incoming mail.

Hi there,

I am using aqua mail 1.2.1.2. 
In the settings i selected a standard sound from my samsung galaxy note 2, to play with a new incoming mail. but it doesn't play.
I installed the widget on my homescreen and there it is indicated that i a have a new mail, and also in the statusbar aqua mail indicates that i have new mails, but the sound doesn't play.
My note is running on JB 4.1.2

do you know what is wrong ?

No trouble with notification sounds on my Note 2.... So, some things to check:

- With default settings, the app only notifies about new, unread messages (and won't notify about new read messages). This can be changed in the app's settings.

- Do you, by any chance, have a "night mode" or "weekend mode" configured in my app, which forces silent notifications? This is again in the app's settings, in Extended mode (top item).

- Is there a per-account silent notifications override? Long press the account, choose Special Settings to check

Hi There,

In deed, it was the per-account silent notification override. It seems that when you install the app for the first time and you make new accounts, the default setting per account is "no sound", even if you enable the sound for notifications in the global settings. It is a little bit confusing. But ok. Problem solved.

Actually, the default settings for the "Special settings" screen are "no overrides for anything".... :)
