Title: 4 lines of message on lockscreen
Post by: boomblerg on June 22, 2018, 08:44:50 pm
Currently there is the option to choose up to 4 lines of message during preview. During the standard Android notification, when you drag down from top you can immediately read the message, and even mark read, hide or delete.
Would it be possible to do same in lockscreen? So you get the message, lockscreen lights up, you tap on it,  you read the message, mark as read, and continue your job :) without unlocking phone or accesing inbox. Would be a great productivity tool.
Perhaps there is this option i have missed it?

Lock screen notifications are exactly same as "status bar" notifications - they're just "copied" there by Android.

So as far as our side is concerned - you should be getting action buttons on the lock screen as well. I know I do on my phones and use "mark as read" on the lock screen all the time.

Some phones I believe have a per-app setting for whether lock screen notifications are even allowed, or if allowed, if they should have any "private" info (such as subject / sender / text).
