Title: How do I create web.de account in aqua

Hi there,
tried to make web.de account in aqua-mail. Failed (see screenshot).
On web.de-browser login no problem, but aqua-mail sends me error-message, and I donot know, what it really tries to tell me.
Can anybody help?

Hello,

please try:

New Account, Internet Mail, Manual.

And there you should input the settings of web.de.

I think:
https://hilfe.web.de/pop-imap/imap/imap-serverdaten.html

The app already knows the right settings for @web.de - they're exactly what's at that help link.

It's possible (and I don't have a @web.de account) that they have a setting in web mail (web.de web site) to "enable access from mail apps over IMAP / SMTP" or similar wording.

And hey, in fact it says that right there:

Wichtig: Um POP3 oder IMAP nutzen zu können, müssen Sie diese Funktion in den WEB.DE Einstellungen einschalten.

Der Abruf von E-Mails über POP3 bzw. IMAP ist standardmäßig ausgeschaltet. Wenn Sie Ihre E-Mails mit einem E-Mail-Programm oder einer Mail App empfangen oder versenden wollen, müssen Sie POP3 bzw. IMAP in den Einstellungen Ihres WEB.DE Postfachs einschalten.
