Title: AquaMail gets 3 copies of every email from one domain, but Outlook gets 1
Post by: teaguew on October 13, 2017, 11:51:35 pm
Hi. I manage a web site using a CMS that periodically sends emails - new user registrations, upgrade notices for the CMS. Every email arrives in my AquaMail inbox in triplicate. There is only one email in Outlook, as well as only one when I log into webmail.

Any ideas what might be causing this and how to stop it?

Thanks!

Where is the mail account - Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc?

Is it really in Inbox or perhaps in Smart Folder?

If in Smart Folder, each message item has a label (account / folder name) along the top - what are the folders?

If the account is Gmail, are they "Inbox", "All Mail" and "Important" perhaps?

I'll need to wait until it happens again.  All I can tell you now is that when it happens, the email shows up in triplicate in Aqua Mail but not in Outlook on my desktop. The receiving inbox is Gmail, and I know that Aqua Mail and Outlook are pointing to Inbox.

Thanks!

Yes please do - and it would be great if you could make a screenshot and send it to support / aqua-mail / com, and I'd take a look.
