Title: Add a way to support development...
Post by: zspb on February 18, 2017, 11:37:22 am
A good example is how "Action Launcher" does this.
Basically if you visit Settings, it has a simple text each year.
OR if there is a big major update (see pics), it includes a notice about this thing.

IF you want to support development, you can pay some amount, and you get a cool badge in settings.
So no left out people, no real benefits.
Just a warm fuzzy feeling.

I love AquaMail, it's the only proper client for Android.
Please, add this.

(Yeah, yeah, you get a "live wallpaper", but to be honest no one uses that, we just pay to keep Action Launcher alive.)

Given this is now owned by Mobisystems, I expect that to arrive soon, but possibly not in a way the users would like if their other apps are anything to go by.

Yeah well if anything "like Mobisystems" arrives I will instantly abandon and remove AquaMail from every device I have in my reach. Haha.
I really hope they will never touch (i.e.: ruin) AquaMail.

I know you didn't quote me there, so the question was probably aimed at zspb, but I am a user of AquaMail Pro. I've also, in the past, paid for versions of MobiSystems products only to find out there are still masses of in-app purchases or extra charges to do stuff that they advertise as features (e.g. in their Office product and in File Commander)

Are you a user of AquaMail Pro?

Of course. Always been for years.
Bought it on every phone I had access to.
