Sorry about that, fixed.

Sender image still disappearing in message view (header). ;)
-
Re: translations
Thank you all!
Re: Sender image still disappearing in message view (header)
Does the app have Contacts permission?
Does the image first appear and then get overwritten with the "color letter"?
What's the exact step by step scenario so I can reproduce?
-
Sry i am confused.....when i reply to a message the person image who sent me the message appear. Is that what you mean by sender image.
-
Re: Sry i am confused
I was asking for a clarification on this one:
Re: Sender image still disappearing in message view (header).
Do you have a specific set of steps -- for me to reproduce this?
Something like:
1 - Open a message, sender image appears
2 - ...
3 - ...
4 - ...
N - Sender image disappears, is replaced by "letter chip"
I'm asking you to provide steps 2 - 3 - 4 .... N-1
Can you do that please?
-
1. Open msg list...sender image and letter chip appears for the particular conversation msg.
2. Open msg view on the msg sent by sender with the sender image......sender image dissapears but replace by letter chip image. The sender image never appears in msg view.

Which version are you using? You can see that in main view, menu, "About"
What's you device and operating system?
I can confirm this issue on my devices:
AquaMail 1.8.0.112-dev
Android 7.0 Nougat
Sony Xperia XZ
AquaMail 1.7.1-88 (stable)
Android 5.1.1
Sony Xperia Z3
Only the conversation mode is affected:
In message view just the" Letter chip" is shown, but not the sender's image.
> Reproducible only if the conversation is expanded in message list beforehand.

Even expanded letter chip image appears not the sender image.

Done...same thing happen.

@bakaris
Unable to reproduce with current code. And I remember fixing this recently, can you check what app version you've got?

Hmm, I just spent a few minutes tapping around, nope, not able to repro...
Are these "sent" messages? Do you have "across folders" enabled for conversations? Does it happen only if you tap a *sent* (not incoming) message?

Yes sent messages.
Yes enabled across folder.
Happen both in sent and incoming messages.

For sent messages specifically, it's normal --
-- in a message list, in an expanded conversation, the app uses "your" icon for sent messages, so it looks like a "who said what" (you / the other person / you / the other person).
But when you open a sent message for viewing, the app uses "the recipient's" icon (and a small arrow to show that it's a sent message).
Is this it?

Yes that is it but the small arrow does not appears in all sent messages.

Re: Yes that is it but the small arrow does not appears in all sent messages.
Depends on message header format -- you can tap to toggle between brief and full info modes.
In the brief mode, the arrow should be there.
In the full mode, it won't be, but the header will have "From: you" and "To: <your recipient>" visible.
