Title: Account Check Error all of a sudden

Hi,

I had aquamail running happily in my Samsung Note2 for many years.

Recently I was unable to read email and I checked that they gave error
Incoming mail  server (IMPAP): Error connecting. recvfrom failed. ECONNRESET (connection reset by peer)

I am quite sure there was nothing change in my email accounts. I had three email accounts both showing the same errors.
The only changes I noticed was the aquamail was updated to 1.7.1-88 on 2016-12-12

I checked the email server and it only reported one line of error "BAD command unknown. Disconnected"
This is a working server with nothing changed and I only have problem with aquamail.

Any suggestion ?

Hi,

I manage to solve the issue.

Not sure why but for this new version, I must change the  security type to SSL Accept any. I cannot use not encrypted.

Apparently your mail server's security has been tightened...

It no longer wants to talk to mail apps over non-encrypted connections. Good thing.
