Title: mark message as read after opening it?

I don't want my mail messages to be marked as read,
I have set that option to never mark them as read,
but I would like them to be marked as read after I open them,
any way I can set this?

I know, but I wanted this to be done automatically,
is "when closing" ok for my purpose?

I did:
mark messages as read -> when closing

 ;)
