Title: Adding invites to calendar
Post by: grumpy on May 20, 2016, 08:32:43 pm
Yesterday I accepted a meeting invite but added it to the wrong calendar (put it in Google when I wanted it in my work Exchange calendar). Entirely my own fault!

After that the add to calendar option was grayed out. I worked around it by forwarding the original invite to a different account but could it be possible to have a second chance?

Um, dunno, the app actually checks to see if this particular event already exists in the system Calendar storage and if so, tells you that it already is.

Seems useful to me, to avoid other kinds of mistakes which could conceivably be made by other users...

In you scenario, it should have worked to remove the event from the wrong calendar using any Calendar app or even via web mail or Outlook (since it's an Exchange account and it syncs).

Thanks - so long as AM is checking the calendar to see if the event exists rather than its own 'record' of whether the event was saved (if such a thing even exists!), this is fine.
