Title: Google will be moving to distrust Symantec's root certificates
Post by: StR on December 14, 2015, 10:22:32 am

Just in case this might affect some connections from Android phones/apps to some servers:

Symantec actually says that it shouldn't affect anybody...

https://www.symantec.com/page.jsp?id=roots

And at least some major browsers have removed this root certificate more than a year ago ( http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/12/11/google_slams_symantec_certs/ ). -- But who knows, maybe it will show "its ugly head" somewhere..

TWC's latest cert is from Symantec, BTW.
