I have a problem with the software rereading my emails over and over again.(until I delete them on the server)
I have an account with Virginmedia who have just changed their software procedures. I have contacted Virginmedia and explained the problem and they say they have not changed the composition of the emails. Can any one help with this

I'm lost too. No idea what "rereading" is.
Repeat notifications about same unread messages?
Messages turning back unread after you've marked them as read?
....
Something else?

Sorry not to be more explicit. Emails read from the server and appearing in aquamail are deleted by me but are reread from the survey each time a read is done. If I log to my email account with Virginmedia and delete the emails they do not appear in aqua mail. But any susequent emails will be presented over and over again by aquamail. How an I check that I am using IMAP, sorry still learning this email procedures

To check if you're setting up your account as IMAP:
> got to app's main window (account list view) > long press on Account name > Account setup > MANUAL > in top of the next screen you will see the account type (e.g. IMAP) nothing to change in this screen neither in the following screens > NEXT > NEXT > SAVE
also in tscreen

And please also do this:
Long press the account -> options and folders -> folders
Let the folder list refresh
Find the server side Deleted folder (may be called Trash, Deleted Items, Deleted Messages, or something else)
Tap this folder's name, choose "Sync with Deleted"
Now back out to the app's main window and try deleting again.
And one more thing: the app's "delete message" icon should be a "trash can", can you please confirm this for me?

Sorry for the problem I raised Everything is now normal and I have not changed anything. Virginmedia had a bit of a melt down in their email service . Since it has been reset all the problems I had have gone!
Again sorry for any misunderstanding I may have caused
