Title: Nuevasync
Post by: amirage on July 19, 2015, 12:56:23 pm
Hi all,

I have an email configured to get pushed to my phone by using the services offered by this website http://www.nuevasync.com/

I know this website uses exchange but I don't know which EWS or Activesync. Can someone please check this and let me know? I'm trying to get it configured on the phone but it doesn't go through giving me an error "HTTPXXXXX, login details error"

If this server is supported on Aquamail, can you please let me know how to get it configured? Appreciate the feedback

Amit

It seems that nuevasync is using exchange ActiveSync (which is not supported by AquaMail):

It's a perfect add-on for Fastmail, GMX email, or for anyone running their own in-house IMAP servers.

FastMail supports IMAP IDLE.

GMX supports IMAP IDLE.

And "in-house IMAP servers" often means Dovecot or Cyrus, which too -- remember you read it here first :) -- support IMAP IDLE.

Seems like a product targeted at Windows Phones, maybe?
