I saw that in the latest version, there should be the possbility to add comments when you accept/decline an invitation.
Nevertheless, I cannot find them - what do I have to do?
Cheers,

When you're looking at an incoming invite, there is an "add comment" checkbox right above Accept / Reply / Decline.
That's in your incoming message that has the invite, on the attachments tab (invites are currently shown as a special type of attachment).
If you turn that on, and then hit Accept / Reply / Decline, the app will prompt you for a short note to be included in your response.
It's for things like "Can we also invite Debbie from Marketing?" or "I'll be there, but a hour later would work better".

Hi Kostya,
Thanks for the quick reply. I do not have this checkbox, only checkboxes "send reply" and "add to calendar", please see attached screenshot.
I am using Aqua Mail 1.5.7.10 (German language) on a Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 5.0.
Any ideas?
Thanks & best regards,

Those "comments" are only supported for Exchange accounts, when you have accept / decline / maybe buttons right in the message view, without opening the popup window with calendar event details.
And I guess GMX is an Internet mail type account -- IMAP, SMTP...
-
That is correct, GMX is an IMAP account.
But even with an Exchange account, it does not work. I send invites to or from an Exchange account and I do not have any possibility to comment. I also do not see the "accept" etc. buttons in the invite itself, only when I open the attached .ics ...

Make sure your Exchange account is set up in Aqua as such -- an Exchange account -- as opposed to IMAP, and that you also have Calendar sync enabled for it (you'll see it system settings -> accounts, and also your calendar will become visible in any Calendar app).
-
Bingo! I had calendar sync turned off, after activating it everything works fine.
Thanks a lot, Kostya!

Great, thanks!
