Title: Acoustic Alert when sending mail via gmail
Post by: aquaseeker on March 18, 2015, 05:36:33 pm
Hi,
I've been using AquaMail for a while now without problems and being satisfied.
Recently, I've setup my device (OPPO FIND 7, rooted) from scratch, also imported
my accounts into AM from backup.

No problems, everthing works fine.

Now, when sending mails thru AM with my gmail account, I get an acoustic alarm which doesn't stop anymore!
The email goes thru, everything's fine. But the sound doesn't stop, I have to restart my device (or, alternatively kill the app the hard way).

It doesn't do that with other accounts.

Has anyone any idea what's going on...?

Thanks a lot!

PS: BTW, the sound itself is not installed on my device, as far as I can tell.

The sound must be present on the device, or how would it be playing?

I'm aware that sounds do loop sometimes on some devices (some sounds)... Please try a different sound, it's in app settings under "Send notifications".
