Any Updates for S/MIME support?
The last Topic in Feature Request is from 2013...... :'(

Yes, true, no updates on S/MIME.

without smime is the app useless for bussines...
:-\

It's always "business, business, business"....
Funny, other users claimed that the app is "useless for business" without Exchange Calendar sync... Or Exchange Contact sync... Or push mail for Exchange... Or threaded message view...
I guess it just depends on the particular user, but thank you for your feedback.

a nice way to talk to paying customer....
i have Nothing say from exchange or the Other bullshitt...
In Germany is it a la to communicate crypted with the administration.... and hey.... Snowden?

Payload encryption is nice, it is something I would like to have in the future also. But let's face it..... Proper Payload encryption depends on a good pki infrastructure. If you want to have a good solid implementation, it is a lot of work and needs a good design.
The amount of users that use payload encryption is not that high. People just don't care about that (yet).
For company use, I would suggest having a solid mail infrastructure and make sure that all the sessions are properly encrypted. That is something that is included. A good company has its own servers and does not depend on insecure relaying of it's traffic

Hello all,
I would really appreciate at least PGP / GPG digital signature of message...
Would it be somehow possible to add this to some future feature list?
I am quite busy, but I may help in future...

Sorry to dig up an old post. But this is just a hands up to say I'd also like to see S/Mime GPG (via APG?) support on Aqua Mail. It's the one feature that keeps me from switching entirely over to Aqua. I keep K-9 on hand for encrypted email.
Any news on the likelihood of this being implemented?
Regards,
Jonathan

I would love to have also a way to use s/mime and/or PGP to sign my Mails. It's no Showstopper but it would be great feature.

It's there in -- now MobiSystems' -- "list of possible future enhancements".
