Swiping may be a nice gimmick for youngsters, where mistakes don't matter. But for me when trying to WORK outside the office with this app, it turned out to be dangerous.
There are two functions when swiping to the right, which are physically very nearby: beginning from outside the left edge and from more within the notice. The result is very different as known. In the first case you get the folder list, in the second case you definitely delete the message.
I intended the first use. But the smartphone is in a hard cover, which is a little bit higher than the screen on both sides. So by accident a swipe didn't touch the screen at the very outer edge and instead of showing the folder list, an important message had been gone FOR EVER.
It's good to have still kmail running beside the app on the PC. But I am not sure, for what the app is then useful. Permanent delete should be a bit more protected.

Agreed.
This app also causes hurricanes and earthquakes, even more dangerous.
Some ideas:
- App settings -> look and feel -> enable confirmations for both "move to deleted" and "delete immediately"
- App settings -> swiping -> turn off "message list swiping" (and maybe "message view swiping" too)

@Kostya
I highly recommend to enable these options as DEFAULT settings:
*** only if it's not already the case ;-) ***
1.
- App settings -> look and feel -> enable confirmations for both "move to deleted" and "delete immediately"
2.
long press on account name-> options and folders->account options->move to deleted

They are both enabled by default.
>> account options->move to deleted
It is the default.

Great.
This I had indeed already suspected.
Thanks for your feedback.

@Kostya,
A few months ago you mentioned that you intend to implement a pretty nice "undo" feature in the near future.
Actually, both should show -- and you can "fire" either one, depending on how far you swipe (the blue highlight and the vibration feedback help with that).

Just swipe a little farther.
"Work in progress" part -- for deleting, the "oh so fashionable" Android thing is to 1) make it look that an operation, even a destructive one, has actually occurred 2) provide a floating "thing" with an undo button.

Note that the article is misleading -- displaying a little properly styled UI element is the easy (no-brainer) part. The hard part is making it look like a delete or move to deleted actually took place.
I also got a few smaller suggestions on this feature already.
Finally, on the "snooze" feature (@paras.desai) -- this would be a natural place for it, but I won't be able to work on that just yet.
Based on my previous experience I miss this feature actually more often, especially in connection with actions like "Move to folder...", "Move to spam" and also with "Move to deleted" or 'Delete immediately"... yes, even with enabled options "Confirm before..." it can happen to choose accidentally a wrong action... ;-)
Thanks a lot for your excellent continuing development of this great app.

Sorry, not ready to work on it yet.

Don't hurry.
I know this feature is not a small one to implement. Just wanted to keep an eye on it.
