Hi,
One little issue I have with AquaMail is that when I move messages to spam they are kept unread. It would be great if messages moved to spam with AqualMail was marked read, or if there was an option to enable such behavior.
P.S. I tried to post in feature requests, but there was no "New" option there.

Yes, the feature requests section is read-only, I have enough to keep me busy for the next 6 to 12 months.
I'll write this down though. There already is a setting like this for moving to Deleted, so this should not be too hard.

I'd like to second this request.
There is something similar for Thunderbird.
Without marking messages I move to spam as read I get their content in notifications about new email on desktop email client.
Thanks!

Um, strange that your desktop app does that :)
I'll write this down.

It's actually happening in Thunderbird. In popup notifications of new mail I get the first few lines of unread messages (including the folders where I keep my spam and trash - possibly because they have non-default names).
Thanks!
And BTW - AquaMail is awesome, thanks for doing all this!
-
I'll write this down.
Please, don't do that as the only option.
I still want to see which messages in Spam I've looked at, and which I didn't look at. So, I prefer the state of the messages not to be changed upon being moved to Spam, Archive, or whatever..
Thanks.

Re: Please, don't do that as the only option.
I understand that this should be a setting (we clearly don't have enough yet :) )

Kostya, consider implementing https://setft.aqua-mail.com "There's a setting for that".
(See http://appft.com/ for the inspiration and click a few times there ...)

Cute!
