Title: aquamail for desktop

I'm very happy with aquamail.  Any intentions for a desktop version in the future? Any ideas about a similar email program for windows to be used along with aquamail? Thank you!

Ummmm, no way :) I'm just one guy in his bedroom :)

I understand that the core members of the Thunderbird team now have a new project, a desktop mail app that looks really sweet (I haven't used it though -- no Linux version)...

Or you mean Postbox?
I'm always looking for a better desktop client. Postbox is not bad but it has many quirks and development is quite slow.

Have you though about open-sourcing your code, under GPL or whatever so that you can maintain commercial control)?  I'd bet there are others (like me) who would contribute code back to you...
