Title: Having problems to send messages with attachments
Post by: fcofdezlab on May 16, 2014, 02:40:39 pm
When I try to send a message with an attachment (Google IMAP and also with POP3 accounts) in my Nexus 7 there is an error message saying:
Send error: Attachment /document/primary Download/xxx.doc is missing
Press Send to try again

When I touch the attachment appears this message: Folder sync is disabled, and so is attachment loading

I couldn't find any setting called "Folder sync".

On my phone it works correctly.

Where is the issue?

Thank you for your help,

This is caused by some interesting changes in Android 4.4, I've been fixing them on a case by case basis.

Please update to the latest development build. It has a fix for a few such cases.

The fix will only affect brand new messages.

If this doesn't help, please contact me at kmansoft / gmail with a new error message (it'll be more detailed than in the currently released version).

But I hope the latest dev. build does fix it for you.
