Title: PGP signed mails not displayed
Post by: starwarsfan on November 22, 2012, 03:50:03 pm
Hi

I can't say the exact version, but it feels like starting with 1.2.0.3 AquaMail can't show PGP-signed mails anymore. If I receive such mails, AquaMail displays an empty screen on my Desire HD.
The ability to show such messages was the major reason for me to switch to AquaMail, so this is a show stopper right now.  :-\

Here's a part of the mail headers of such an email:

MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/signed; boundary="=_1fnzw7jagq2s";
     protocol="application/pgp-signature"; micalg="pgp-sha1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Additionally it feels real slow since that update. If I tip on a folder on the list of folders, it took 3-5 seconds until the folder is opened.

Please let me know if you need more details.

HTC Desire HD, Android 2.3.5, HTC Sense 3.0
AquaMail 1.2.0.4
Connected via IMAP

Kind regards,
Yves

Hi,

Please send me a PGP signed message like the ones you're having trouble with to kmansoft / at sign / gmail / dot com, I'll check it out. There have not been any intentional changes here.

Re: slowness -- did you by any chance increase the "messages per page" setting in the app or the account, causing it to load more messages in the list?

Might want to try Menu / Compact message store from the account list.
