Hi,
I had someone ask me if I had started to use Thunderbird and it turns out it is because AquaMail identify as Thunderbird in its user agent. What is the reason for that?

Without the "Thunderbird" part, I was seeing Apple's mail services (@mac / @me) drop sent messages on the floor, never delivering them to the recipients.
I can assume this means that Apple's mail services only work with "approved" apps.
So much for "open standards" on Apple's part. I believe the right word is "duplicity".

Don't even get me started on Apple. They're a despicable company when it comes to standards (and other business practices). I had no idea they would drop messages based on user agent, but it doesn't surprise me. Thank you for letting me know.
