Title: resize images before sending
Post by: acer89 on September 14, 2013, 11:03:50 am
Hi..I'm getting my head around this excellent app and wondered if it had the capability of resizing images before sending.

If not can anyone recommend an app which does and can this be considered as a future feature request.

Thanks

'send reduced' is an excellent app for this purpose

QuickPic - support for it is integrated, if QuickPic is installed, the menu (in the compose window) in AquaMail will have "attach cropped image".

I think he is referring to resizing, not cropping. For that I always use "image resize"
Fabulous app.

QuickPic is an excellent app and I am glad you included support for it.

Nice lib to have built in crop feature.

This is a really old thread, so I'd like to mention that AquaMail has a built-in facility for making attached images (JPEGs) smaller, since version 1.5.9 or so.

It's in app settings under "composing and sending" -> "shrink large images".

Yes, that's correct.
But, Pyler wanted to pointing at a "cropping" feature, which could be implemented as an additional option within AquaMail ... no need to use a third-party app like 'QuickPic' anymore then.   8)
