Hello
Since purchasing my phone, I have never been able to send emails. However I have always been able to receive them.
I have tried downloading various email apps like aquamail however it seems to be the same issue with all of them. I took the phone into town and they said I should check for android updates, but I have the newest version installed.
To access the emails on the PC, the pop server is mail.gandi.net (not a standard MSN, Gmail etc account). on the Pop3 server on the phone I put the same thing in on port 995 (same as PC).
Does anyone have an idea on how I can get the emails to send?
Thanks
Graham

If all mail apps are having identical issue, maybe it's not the apps?
Port 995 is for incoming mail, it's POP3 over SSL.
I think your settings for the outgoing server @gandi.net should be:
- mail.gandi.net
- encryption: SSL (accept any)
- port 465
I just tried connecting, and even though I don't have an account there, the connection itself worked... This is from my desktop system, not from AquaMail, just to see if I'd be able to connect.
kman@roxy:~/Android/proj-tablet/AquaMail$ openssl s_client -crlf -connect mail.gandi.net:465
CONNECTED(00000003)

You should also be able to STARTTLS instead of SSL, with port 587.
