Title: Smart box period?

Please clarify the smartbox "period" setting. If set to one day does it mean it will not display messages received 2 days ago even if they are unread?

I thought so. Good way to miss messages.

I guess "all current" would be a setting that would display any message I did not specifically delete/hide. Right?

Yes, also considering the "messages per page" setting for IMAP -- which is the number of recent messages kept up to date on each mail check.

As for the "good way to miss", well, it's an aid, not a replacement for all the other features of the app. The regular folders are still there.
