Kostya,
I just encountered a bug that is not critical but rather annoying.
Synopsis: message view, the message has attached photos (.jpg).
If I am in the "Attachments" tab, and then change the orientation of the phone (between landscape and portrait), AqM jumps to the "Message" tab.
Observed on Droid Razr M with Android 4.1.2, AquaMail 1.5.1.12.
Please, let me know if any additional information is needed.

Um, well, yeah, I think you're right...
-
Followup (different, but seemingly related)? bug:
While in the message text view, changing the orientation resets the position (scrolling) to the very top of the message.
-
This one (position) won't be fixed.

:'(
That's a discrimination against the orientation of my phone!!!
I will be writing to UNESCO! ::)
;D

Do your email messages have world-scale cultural significance? All of them, or just the ones *you* write? :)
-
Those that I *read*.
;)
-
I'm on the discriminated side as well :(
The very same loss of position occurs in the list of emails as well. Annoying when looking around some 200th email in a row. The position loss in the list happens also if the orientation gets changed back and forth while viewing an email.
Sent from a touch display, which took care of perfectly scrambling my thoughts.

That (message list position) should not be lost, and I can only reproduce it when changing the orientation while the message list is hidden, i.e. when looking at a particular message. Will take a look.
-
Message list reset fixed, look for it in the next build, whenever that is :)

Um, well, yeah, I think you're right...
This week I encounter this once again... For some reason I thought it had been fixed, but when I got to re-read this thread, I realized that it wasn't.
Kostya, just in case it went away from your radar as well, - this is just a gentle reminder (or a thread bump). ;)
(I know that you've been very busy working on the Exchange-related features.)
-
You know, I tired reproducing it recently, late in the 1.5.5 cycle, and it didn't happen. I'll make a note to take another look.
-
It looks like 1.5.5.4 fixed it.
Thank you, Kostya!

Good :)
