How to mark message as spam
« on: April 24, 2013, 06:11:39 pm »
Just started using AquaMail for my Yahoo email.
I am using the Pro version which I paid for.
How do I mark a message as spam?
If the answer is just move the message to the "spam" folder I cannot do that because the only folders that show up are "drafts" and sent.

So, is there a "mark as spam" choice I am not seeing?
Is there a way to make my other folders show up in the app?

Well you could just delete it, which has about the same effect (I don't think AquaMail has any spam trend learning tricks does it?)

It is Yahoo that learns about spam when you mark the message.
If this is not a feature of AquaMail, it should be.

You can get the Spam folder to show in your list of folders, the same as with any other folder you have, but only for IMAP accounts I think.  Long press your account and then choose Options and Folders and then Folders.  You can then set up the spam folder to sync with the spam folder in your email account.  I have not tried it but I guess that you can then drag and drop to the Spam folder, in which case it will sync with your email account.  I do not know if Aquamail has any spam learning features, but I would be surprised if it did.

It would be a great feature at least for GMail account. "Report mail as Spam"
Its the same as moving the mail to the spam folder. Google learns as soon as a mail gets moved into the spam folder.
