Title: Email always deletes after my mobile activates the lockscreen gets locked
Post by: Eflodur on January 15, 2017, 02:13:32 am
Hey everybody,

my Problem is that always when I write an email with aqua mail pro my written text/email gets lost when my phone activates the lockscreen. After deactivating the Lockscreen the text is lost.
I've got a Sony Ericsson z1 compact with Android 5
Does anybody has a solution?

Thx
Eflodur

Have you checked in "Drafts"?
Usually, Aquamail saves the message being edited as a Draft message if something drives Aquamail from being the foreground app (which is what happens when the lockscreen activates).

Hmm... Just checked, and yes, the draft does get saved.

And then for a limited time (up to 30 minutes, IIRC), Android will also maintain the app's "state" so when you unlock, the app should be restored to the old state, with the draft and its content already open.

Are you seeing something different?
