Delating problem
« on: November 08, 2021, 04:59:07 pm »
I'm having trouble organizing my messages.
When I delete a message from the main "messages received" folder,
this message will not be removed automatically from the "Solarweb" subfolder
As you can see, the message number of the subfolder is now 1.
But as you can see in the sub-folder I have 3 messages.
Turning on sync in the options for the SolarWEB folder "sync like a regular folder" doesn't help either.
I would like to delete the message in the "SOLARWEB" subfolder, for example, and that the message would be automatically removed from the main "messages received" folder.
Can anybody help?
Thank you in advance for the help you received.

It looks like while you have three messages, two appear to have been read, which one has not. Which is the "1" showing at the top. Mark the unread message as read and see if the "1" goes away.

Many thanks
You are right,

I don't understand one thing.
When a message is downloaded I can see it in the main "messages received" folder.
I can see it in the subfolder to which it was assigned by the filter on gmail.
When I open aquamail and open a subfolder I can read this message and delete it.
The problem is that even though I delete a message from the subfolder, this message will still be in the main "messages received" folder.
In order to delete an email I have to delete it in 2 places, one place is the main folder "messages received" and the other is a subfolder assigned by me, prepared only for an email from a specific person or instance

When I do similar things on my gmail account, I don't have such problems.
I delete the message in one place and it disappears, you don't need to delete it twice

I agree that this doesn't make sense. Just a guess - have you tried to delete the message from the Smart Folder, which I believe is what you're calling the Messages Received folder?

Understood. Try deleting it from the inbox instead of from the solarweb folder.

I don't know why it won't disappear from the inbox when you delete it from solarweb. You may have to wait until someone else has a suggestion.

Thank You for help,
It is the same sytuation.

One thing that I additionally noticed is that although the program offers synchronization for each subfolder, unfortunately it does not work.
For all subfolders, the "sync (normal folder)" setting is set.
I don't know why it can't sync
In one of the sub-folders I have one e-mile with a link to doc.google com document which is updated twice a week with some data.
If I go to gmail through the website and open this document, everything is okey.
When I do this via aquamail it shows me no document update
