I have frequent need for
1. Attaching old email as an attachment to new mail.
2. Open. Eml attachment received.
The first, I am not able to do.
Second i have to use gmail to open and read.
I remember this request being discussed on past, but could not prevent for posting my request again, when I received a message (below image)
Any plan to make this possible both above 2 points in aqua
Thanks

you ask very important features, about the first one, I do not know if technically possible, but when we will have the print option,in complete format, pdf, we can attach old messages as pdf files, better than nothing...
-
We can save the email message even today as pdf. Just select cloud print, then instead of printing, select save as pdf, and then save to a specified folder. , and then attach. Only problem with this is that, I will not be able to include attachment, I need to save attachment as well seperately. But yes something better than nothing, Thanks

If you want headers too, save as pdf through cloud print, but these are many steps
-
There are two ways to convert entire body in pdf.
1. Share the email with Google keep using in built sharing menu, entire body along with headers will be copied to keep. Then share keep with Google Drive, and save as pdf.
Method 2
Through inbuilt share menu, go to "copy to clip board", copy the text in say Polaris office, and select, export to pdf, if you copy to say kingsoffice, then select print command and then print as pdf. Posting images

The message converted to pdf, with all headers
-
Another little absurd way to achieve is, share the mail with calender, the message body with headers will get copied in note section. Open the note, select print and print as pdf, see below image. Only issue with this option would be, calender headers will also get printed

Through calender

Aqua shows the content of .eml attachments (including attachments inside such attachments) inline, in the body of the main message.
So you should see something like:
------------
Hey Paras, here is that message from Joe.
----
From: Joe joe@foo.com
Subject: blah blah
Something Joe wrote
------------
So there is no reason to implement opening .eml attachments -- since everything's already in front of you, in the message itself.
If you are not seeing this, I'll need a message sample (you know where to find me).
As to why the .eml attachments are showing in the first place -- the only reason is, someone asked for this. Maybe I shouldn't have, since it apparently distracts from what's the app is really doing.

Hello kotsya, Thanks for your feedback. I did miss to notice, the attachment was already pasted in email body, this is great, my apologies for missing it. This is I think good enough in most cases. Thanks again.
-
@paris @ kotsya, I was just checking on few mail application, how they handle print of message with headers, I came across printing on an application "more than mail", just sharing here, when ever it is possible , the same may be implement in aqua.
-
First two screenshots --> being able to print message headers.
True, not done, have it on my to-do, and it's fairly close to the top.
The other two -> Google Cloud Print support, is implemented in Aqua, requires Android 4.4.
It's a separate item under Copy/Send/Share/Print.
-
I meant only first items, other two screen I just posted to show the complete process. Thanks
-
I just found this application, "printshare" , it print all content including headers to pdf, just try it out
-
Yes thanks

When opening an email with attachment the status/switch bar "MESSAGES ATTACHMENTS" appears for one second and then disappears. After this I cannot open the attachment unless I use the menu bbutton.

>> status/switch bar "MESSAGES ATTACHMENTS" appears for one second and then disappears
You must have enabled this "switch bar" to fade out.
Please disable app settings -> message view -> fade out the panels pager.
Even with the "switch bar" faded out, you can still swipe between message text and attachments.
