Hi,
how can I insert text from the clipboard as quoted text?
Thanks!

There is no one-step magic button to do this.
Right now what you'd have to do is this:
- Switch the editor to rich text mode (in the menu, or can be set as default in app settings -> composing and sending)
- Paste your text snippet
- Use the "increase indent" icon in the formatting bar (added in 1.15).

Thanks for your help.
But I'm old-school and still write mails in plain text ;-)
Maybe I have to wait for the next version...

Plain text?
Then what's your expectation for this "insert quoted"? What would that do exactly?
Add "> " at each line?

BTW I'm old fashioned too, preferring plain text email, and have lots of gray hair to prove it (maybe it's Android taking its toll on me).

Add "> " at each line?
Yes, exactly! The good old "quote style" :-)
... as it Thunderbird does – s. attached screenshots
Together with the option "restyle" (don't know the label in the English version) in the edit menu I'm able e.g. to insert own answers/comments between the quoted text.

Sorry we don't have "insert quoted" for plain text. I'll write it down but can't say when / if this will be worked on.
