Title: reinstallation after hard reset
Post by: Vorticella on December 23, 2017, 02:29:46 pm
My tablet, samsung tab s 10.1, is cluttered with unwanted applications which will not uninstall, and a guest user which cannot be deleted. Instructions in manual and online do not work.

If I do hard reset, will lose aquamail pro.  How do I  reinstall aquamail pro after hard reset please

Thank you
Robert Muston

Headline: More on purchasing the Unlocker app on Google Play

Google will store your purchase on their servers, forever.

If/when you switch or reset your device, please configure it with the same @gmail.com account (in system settings / accounts) as before.

This will make the unlocker and other previously purchased apps show in the Google Play app (under My apps) as “purchased”, so you won’t have to pay again. You can use the unlocker on multiple devices the same way, by configuring them all with the same @gmail.com account.

Please install the base, free app first, and then the unlocker. Run the unlocker to activate the free app to “pro” status.

And if you purchased the app *recently* then it's quite likely it was an in-app purchase, in which case there is no need to install the separate Unlocker app, the "main" app will activate automatically.

If you run into any trouble please email support / aqua-mail / dot com.

I recently used AquaMail's Backup & Restore feature to set up a new device, by copying a recent backup from my old device to the new device.  After opening AquaMail for the first time I was presented with an option to restore account information from the ported backup instead of manually entering information for my accounts.

This approach would work for you too, just need to make the backup and move it to a secure location before you do a hard reset.

If you decide to go this route you may want to include AquaMail settings in the backup to go along with the account information. Given all the settings I've modified over the years including the settings in the backup saved me a lot of time.
