Saving attachments to google drive using chromebook
« on: June 29, 2016, 04:43:20 am »
Can someone please provide me instructions on how to save attachments to my google drive using my chromebook?  I have downloaded and set up the Aqua Mail app and it is working good.  I just can't seem how to figure out how to save an attachment.

It is asking me to select the path.  Does anyone know the proper path to my google drive?  Do I only have one choice to save to a SD?

Thank you!
Ryan

It looks to me as though it's not possible, within AquaMail, to designate a folder - on any cloud storage location - for attachments. The best I've been able to figure is to store attachments locally, then use a third party application to sync the contents of the local folder, to Google Drive (or OneNote or whatever). There are several apps that do this. I'm using Autosync Google Drive, from MetaCtrl.

And then maybe I'll add "saving attachments to a cloud folder" as one of my AquaMail feature requests. . .
