Automatically show folders with unread mail
« on: January 15, 2015, 09:36:59 pm »
Hello,
Using Gmail, in the screen with account list I'd like to automat automatically show folders with unread mail besides the folders always visible.
Is it possible?
I know I could use the all mail folder but some important mails might not be noticed quickly because mixed with all the  noise of other mails. That's why I set a filter to have them more visible.

Thanks but that's not what I meant.
Doing so the folders are always visible.

I'd like to always see some folders (and it works) but most folders should be visible only when they contain unread mail.
In other words I'd like to automatically see the folders where the unread mails in "all mail" are kept.

Ok, I'll configure as sync only a few folders and reorganise my server side filters in a simpler way in order to use less automatic folders.

Will you consider this a feature request? Option automatically hide folders with 0 unread. You already have a different display so the information is already there. I think it would be  very useful.
