Title: Create IMAP Folders
Post by: gutshot on June 10, 2013, 04:10:27 pm
Great email client. One question, would it be possible to add/create/edit IMAP folders within the app?

I guess it's the only appealing feature of the default Samsung mail client which doesn't justify using it over Aqua.

Thanks.

I think at this point this feature is not implemented in AM.
You have to do so in the webmail or a desktop email app.

Actually, I'm not using aqua mail to organize folders in the web-client.
Creating folders is currently the only reason for me to access webmail. Would really appreciate this feature!

I'm hesitant: create implies delete and delete means I'll start getting messages saying "Help, I just deleted 1000 important messages" (maybe not so polite either).

I understand your concern. I believe however there's a simple solution to this : only allow empty folders to be deleted. In that case a user has to actively delete the 1000 important messages himself and can never blame you or the app...

Like that'll stop them! I've seen some crazy assed complaints raised about apps that are obviously user error or device related that users like to pin on AquaMail.

I'm just sayin' is all.... :)
