Topic name please how can I show profile pics instead of first letters of their names.

Aqua gets contact images from the Contacts app. How contacts and images get there isn't the app's concern.

Most Android devices are set up with an @gmail account (in phone Settings / Accounts) which provide access to your address book (contacts list).
