Sync sent items

Hi,

first of all, congrats on the app, it does everything I need and more and IMO should be the default email app on android!

I use my IMAP account with Outlook 2010 and my phone.

The only thing I need help with is that when I send an email with my phone it does not sync with my IMAP sent folder so I won't find those messages in Outlook. How should I configure that?

Thanks

Kostya Vasilyev:
Thank you.

You can set up sent folder sync in each account's settings.

- Long press the account in the main window (account list)

- Choose Options and Folders

- Scroll down to see the server's folder list (let it refresh the first time, I guess)

- Tap the server's sent folder, choose "Sync with [ Sent ]"

And just in case:

If you don't see "Sync with [ Sent ]" in the popup, just "Incoming" and "Spam", it means the app is not compatible with this server (or, to be more precise - the server does not support the UIDPLUS extension which my app uses to upload and move messages).

I'm working on removing this dependency, making the app compatible with all IMAP servers, this should be done soon-ish.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I only see "Incoming" and "Spam". Can't wait for the update!

I'll buy my Pro key for sure when you fix this.

Thanks for your time!

Just a quick FYI:

- I wrote the code for this today (moving / uploading messages without UIDPLUS)
- Need to run some more tests (there are fairly complex edge cases, like when the network connection drops)

Hopefully I'll be able to post an early version tomorrow, for testing.

Cool! ;)
