Title: Backup doesn't work
Post by: rmartin39 on March 17, 2013, 01:19:39 am
I just bought the paid version and tried to do a backup.   the ok button is grayed out so I can't do it. Something wrong?

Are you able to bring up the backup / restore screen?

If you are, the only reasons I can think of are that the device does not have a memory card (or "large built-in storage" that "looks" like a memory card), or it's not mounted in the Android system (e.g. the device is connected to a computer, for Android 2.*).

I can open the screen and I do have a large sd  card recognized by the system

But you didn't fill the password. The button is only enabled when both entered password match.

@jcasares: Yep, absolutely true.

@rmartin39: See how it says "Enter password"?

The password is used to encrypt the data, so that in case the device is lost, your email account passwords are not compromised.

That did it. Thanks   I'd really like to be able to do a backup without a password.
