Title: Aquamail SW2 "list empty"
Post by: Adrian Mudd on December 23, 2015, 06:05:00 pm
I just installed Aquamail (pro) on my LG 3S in order to get email alerts on my Sony Smartwatch SW2, it's working fine on the phone & I've installed the SW2 extension, but on the watch the Aquamail icon just gives me 'list empty'
What have I missed ?

The SW2 is not Android Wear is it (that's SW3, I think)...

Did you install this extension app?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kman.AquaMail.SmartExtra

And Sony's "smart watch control center" (not sure about the actual name, sorry).

Are your messages *unread*?

Things I'd try:

- Rebooting the phone and the smart watch

- Reinstalling the AquaMail Smart Watch extension app (Play should not ask you to pay again), maybe it somehow didn't get the right permissions

With Samsung's SW2 (Tizen) you need to install 3 extension apps on your phone to get it working with your Android device:

1. Samsung Companion app "Samsung Gear'

2.  Installation of the "Gear Plug-in"

3. another app: "Samsung Accessory Service"

Yes, but this one's a Sony model and it has its own API and my "AquaMail Smart Watch Extension" app talks to that API specifically...
