Title: Support for Samsung Galaxy Gear - 100% compatibility
Post by: Fcasoli on January 02, 2014, 05:34:48 pm
Hi,

Today I received my Galaxy Gear
I was able to connect it to my S4 Galaxy Mini, although officially it is compatible with Note 3 and S4 only. My device is rooted.

Then inside the app Gear Manager, section notifications, configurable by the smartphone, I found Aquamail.
Just update the application Gear Manager installed in your phone and you will select Aquamail!
Miracle? I do not know, however am very happy.

Umn, yes, that's a miracle indeed. I've never been contacted by Samsung about the Galaxy Gear.

Maybe they monitor notifications, like many other notification enhancement apps do, and they do it for all apps?

I would be curious if this would be confused by ongoing notifications (i.e. "synchronizing with <account>"), like other apps that monitor notifications are?

Hi,
default notifications panel shows:

Calendar
Income call
Missed call
SMS
Alarm

You can activate special notification containing all apps you have installed, for example:

Amazon Kindle
Apex Launcher
Apex Launcher Pro
Apex Notifier
Aquamail
Aquamail Pro Unlocker
Backup to Gmail
Cerberus
ChatOn
Copilot....

and so on...

So, you find all apps, but it is a recent feature!
The miracle is I have the notification from Aquamail, but I can open the text, read sender..., not the counter only  ;D

I think there is a second Vasilyev in Samsung headquarters :-\

I think you must buy the Gear, in Italy, with special price  ;)
