Installed with no problems. Love the rich text. Good job.
This is probably by design but while testing I noticed that you can't change format in mid word. In other words you cannot change color or size, etc in the middle of a word (like you can on a pc). You need to go to the next word first.
Not a problem for me but just mentioning it in case that was not intended.

Great update, thanks! :)

Great, thanks guys.
The ability to change formatting in mid-word has to do with the input system being in compose (auto-complete) mode.
When you add styling, I have code to look backwards and change the entire word being composed. There is no special case for clearing formatting though, it seems a bit awkward to remove styling.
If I find a way to break the Android input system out of compose mode when the user changes styling, I will.

Nice update ! Congratulations !
But I don't see the option to choose a color for each account. You think about it for a future release ?
Yet another suggestion: some smileys... ::)
Thank you for your excellent work.

Color is there. It's the icon that looks like a brush.
But I have a suggestion. If one is long winded and writes longer emails, the formatting bar disappears as the text scrolls down. It would be nice if the format bar remained visible as the text got longer.
I also noticed a possible bug. When reading a message that came in html, the included url links don't display in the message text. I noticed this because when I click to reply, the link displays in the quoted reply section along with the html code!

Hi,
Per-account colors in the UI are not implemented yet.
The rich text editor color picker is an entirely different thing.
Good point about making the format bar float (how do other apps like Katen and Mail Droid handle it?)
For the links issue, can I get the exact source of the original message as an attachment? My email is kmansoft / at sign / gmail / dot com.
Original message source can be obtained in a desktop mail app like Thunderbird, if you use one, or as below for Gmail or similar for other web mail services:
Log in to Gmail web site
Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top of the message pane.
Select Show Original.
The full message sources will appear in a new window.
Save / copy these to a file, and email me as an attachment.

Thank You, Mr. Vasilyev, you understand me when I say "I don't see the option to choose a color for each account"...
What do you think of my suggestion about the possibility to insert smileys in message?
-
@Framon - yes, I do understand you perfectly clearly. The feature to assign per-account colors has not been implemented, that's why you can't find it.
I think smileys is a "nice to have" type feature, not a priority.
-
@Kostya - OK with you. My two suggestions are not urgent... Only pleasant to have...

After installing 1.2.5.0, I have noticed that in the account list where it used to display the number of messages local/server it is now displaying, apparently, local unread/local total. Is this change permanent. I would like the old way of displaying the server count.
I am not sure if I have worded this for correct understanding. An example follows:
Previously I would see the following:
3/0 (three local unread email, zero on server)
Now I see:
3/250 (I know all messages have been deleted from the server account)
I am assuming the 250 is the local number of emails within Aqua-mail.
-
Yes, it's true, the app now uses max(server count, local count). I've had several -- very insistent -- requests about this change.
-
Don't worry Kostya. You can never please everyone. Your app is head and shoulders above all the rest.

Spent a couple hours last night on a preliminary cut of making the format bar float (it sticks to the top when the window is scrolled, that's another fashionable UI pattern).
Hoping to post a dev. version fairly soon.
