This was working before on another identical device. All other swipe actions (left and right) work fine but SWIPE TO ARCHIVE (gmail messages) doesn't work. I have tried Google Play version and latest DEV version with same results. Strange because it worked before I restored to my replacement LG G3.
Now I am wondering if it is because I restored data (to same DEV version).

Hi MisterEd,
Please check your Gmail's account settings :
http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=3553.msg17560#msg17560
You have to define an archive-folder for your Gmail account:
> go to the app's main window (account list view) > long press on Account name (your Gmail account) > Options and folders > folders > tap on folders name ("All mail") > choose "Sync as Archive" or "Archive, don't sync".
*** Note: "to sync or not to sync" does not affect the above -- it's only a question of whether you want Aqua to keep the "archive" (All Mail) folder up to date when it checks mail, or not. ***
+ Assign a swipe gesture for message lists, if wanted:
> app settings -> swiping -> scroll down to "message list"

Hi. Just to clarify the issue (which was resolved be deleting and readding the accounts):
#1) Installed A-M on LG G3 with 5 GMAIL accounts that I have had for MANY years and used on many devices. Archive Swiping worked fine. I didn't define any archive folder, just installed with defaults and all was fine. I had to reinstall Android 5.1 so I first backed up using the backup-restore option of A-M.
#2) I reinstalled on identical device with identical O/S then RESTORED ACCOUNTS & DATA FROM THE BACKUP and **ONLY** archive swipe did not work after restore.
#3) Deleted and readded GMAIL accounts WITHOUT using the existing backup and it all worked fine.
I did exactly what I did the first time. Seems to me the RESTORE was the problem.

There was a time when AquaMail was not finding Gmail's archive folder ("[Gmail]/All Mail").
When you removed / added back the account, since you had a recent version, it did.

That would make sense EXCEPT that both were the IDENTICAL most recent development version of Aquamail. I have only had this device for 4 days (prev was iPhone).
Initial install was 3 days ago second install (using the backups created with the app) was yesterday. Maybe the bug has resurfaced?
In any case, it was resolved for me and maybe the bug is back??

Hmm... You were right, it's a bug in restore. I'll take a look.

Fixed, didn't bother making a new version name / number, just updated -dev6.3 in place.

^^^^ Thanks, I knew I wasn't going crazy! :D :D (although my wife disagrees)
How do I install the same version number that already exists on top of itself? Keep getting "can't install."
