When I star-flag a message in the mail list view, and if there is a day header in view, the list exhibits a strange jumpy behavior. It's as if Aqua Mail refreshes the list after a mail is star-flagged/unflagged, and causes the last mail before the day header to disappear and quickly reappear, causing the day header to temporarily move up one mail and then down again.
-
There is something else strange about flagging mails in the mail list view. When I flag an older mail, meaning several pages further down the list, after marking the mail as flagged, Aqua Mail would jump up the list again close to the beginning.

Think I can reproduce this -- can you confirm, is this folder is IMAP IDLE mode?
-
Yup, it is.
It's the Inbox folder that I have IMAP push enabled in Aqua Mail, and generally, the mail server (cyrus) has the idled service enabled for that purpose.

Noticed that the jumpy behavior also occurs when you move a mail through drag and drop from the inbox to another folder. It seems Aqua Mail doesn't remember the previous relative position of the mail.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Are you also scrolling past the default (first) page in the source or target folder?

Yup, also scrolling past the default first page in the Inbox folder, from where I am moving the mail from.
Oh, and it also occurs when I delete a mail. ;) So in the mail view of the mail folder, scroll a few pages down, then press and hold a mail item, and click on the trash icon. Aqua Mail will perform the deletion, update the mail view list, and jump upwards.

Yes, all of this is the same issue. Has to do with IMAP Push, and the interaction with the server (sending data back and forth).
Thank you for the reports.
