Title: Fake "Move to Archive" button
Post by: truestone on September 06, 2015, 01:59:47 pm
Hello, I'm quite new to AquaMail and even newer to the forum.

I like the way we can (set things up to...) swipe to archive a message in the message list, but I wish for something similar in the message view.I guess it's been asked before (http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=773), and it seems to have been half implemented. In Settings > Message view > Customize the buttons, under "Move to folder", an entry "Move to Archive" can be checked. But when I okay that dialog, the settings show that "Mark with star" is also selected, and back in the actual message view, only Mark with star appears. No matter how I tweak them, the checkboxes for "Move to Archive" and "Mark with star" share the same bit.

Using the icon for "Move to folder" is quick enough for me, especially since it remembers the folder last selected, but it seems like a flaw in an otherwise great app.

Yes, the "archive" and "star" having same setting bit -- a bug in the released version.

Please install latest -dev version from the forum (under "Development Builds")... Or wait for the update in Play, hopefully later today.
